Yeson Voice Center held the master class from November 19th~23rd at the Republic Research Center for Emergency Care which is sponsored by National Medical Holdings, JSC in Astana, Kazakhstan. The main theme of the master class was “New Technologies in surgery of the Larynx”. Dr. Hyung Tae Kim, a director of hospital, gave a lecture to the medical staffs at the Otorhinolaryngology Department, and also performed the Injection Laryngoplasty procedure for voice disorder patients. Many of the patients had suffered from serious vocal cords diseases and even the patients who already have had vocal surgery.
It was a great opportunity to help Kazakhstan patients who are not able to be treated at the local hospitals and to share the outstanding medical technologies of Korea as well. It is expected to see Kazakhstan medical staff having medical training program and to have Kazakhstan patients visiting Korea more often.
